TBH, a TD04 with 2+bar is just pushing hot air. You aren't getting that much of a gain over say 1.6 bar.

The thing to look for is area under the curve, not peak figures. When it was running like that the torque curve looked like /\ so probably not as 'fast' as a torque curve looking like /--.

I ran 1.4 bar with TD05 20G, P-West FMIC, headers, decaps, and the usual supporting cast for over a year... pulled a lazy 300hp at the hubs all day every day... and I drove it every day!

As far as I know, she is still going strong as well!
