are you talking about your forester with stock heads though russ? i thought the heads/cams/valves were the limiting factor in the equation?

Just for interest, I'm running 19psi with supporting mods (and a few extra's) and making 285hp atw. More boost isn't always the anwser to more power. Be "nice" to your engine by modding it apporpriately, and get the power with less boost.

VF30 @ 1.6 bar for a while.. not intended btw, ebc went loopy and the stupid old school omori gauge wasnt reading right.

As jester said, car would be driven nanna spec to work and back (probably only see peak boost half a dozen times). But was also used as weekend warrior where it got a good thrash.

Mind you though, these are peak boost figures. The turbos are not efficient in these ranges (check the compressor maps), so its peak and taper off towards redline (i.e. not 2 bar all the way to redline).

A EJ205 is a tough little bugger if tuned correctly. FYI this was all done by Sean at Allstar.
