did you not read what i just said/wrote?
GC8s come stock with bonnet vent covers/trays underneath the vent

if you don't have them, see if you can source them from the wreckers

another reason to get rid of pod filters

If he has a pod filter its probably right under the drivers side bonnet vent like mine.

My car didn't have a vent cover when i got it so got one of the small ultrex scoops, fits good and keeps the water out.

WANTED: Covers for bonnet vents.

I'm sure there are a few people on here that have taken them off and are collecting dust. They came factory with the car and screw under vents on the inside of the bonnet.

your the commedian....The Bonnet vents are nowhere near your drive belts! (i.e the vents are about 10 inches behind the belt line.)

Therefore you must be spraying through them towards the front of the car......OR your spraying directly through the radiator & condenser, therefore wetting the belts.

The factory covers are metal and even they are not sealed to the bonnet and have an about 8mm gap around their edges to let the heat out.....plus they have a small drain hole to stop a puddle of water forming in them...... so regardless you won't keep the water out.

Ultrex scoop FTW~!

I see I see. Perhaps a consideration when the car is in pieces.
