Default Brant + Autronic = FML

This is the second time this has happened to me. Today driving up hepburn - in 4th gear (killing it up the hill from alexander) - my car shut down again. This time it was not as scary as I was still going up the hill and no other cars on the road.. however the alarm siren was on, and I could not restart my car.

I had to pull over to a rolling stop, shut the car off and retype my pin to start.

Im not sure WTF is going on, and what would cause the brant to just turn the engine off?
It is not boost cut thats triggering the problem from what i can tell.

Anybody else strike similar problems?

The first time it happened was before my tune, however - Iv been rarely killing it these days to try and cause the same problem (too scared!).

Tode, yeah similar things used to happen to me also, but thankfully always at the lights.. the brant is a POS..

for cheap as chips get an autowatch alarm and that also has a key pad.. i did that and no problems since...

Unlikely it's the same thing but a friend with Brant had this happen a few times and what it turned out to be was the door switch was shitty and thought the door was open, so would shut the car down.

No idea on price, but I'm presuming Macey would be the go for install.

Alberts Myaree did my Autowatch install (although they integrated it with my original Brant keypad, I'm sure they can remove it though as per your situation)... did a smashing job and it was cheap too, only 300ish if I recall.
