Still going happily with 62,000 on the clock ( Hopefully not putting the mocker on myself ). Few AHG days and a fair bit of interstate windy road fun but most of it was done while I was still around 200KW atw.

Never top up the oil between services but these days 6 months is only about 3000km and I really don't drive it that hard. Never see's constant revs above about 4000 and shift by about 6 even when I cane it.

If your going to drive it foot flat on some of the long country stretches I would go pretty easy on the mods list unless your going to do it properly.

Oh yea. Still flying the Race Torque & ECUTek flag. Flame Suit on!!!

My MYo8 sti with 225kw at the hubs with Maximum m/sport, Ekuutek, TBE, Hyperflow intake and Headers is plenty quick enough for street and track. Thats pretty much it without opening her up. Luckily I am still on the same block, touch wood because those pistons are like chocolate. My advice would be stick to one mechanic who you trust to do all work and dont go crazy on HP.

i killed my 06sti and chalk it up to a bad tune (sti docklands). i had cp forgies with no sleeves, running about 220kw. i';ve since invested in strengthened internals, (sleeved this time) and am running 230kw and ecutek and it's sweet as. I also change my oil every 6mnths. Bag me if u want, but MMS have been first class (even talking me out of pushing boost etc too hard as they understood that I wanted to own this car for a while).
