Rubber mystery hose

I've found a rubber mystery hose near the front RHS of the radiator.
Car is a GC8 WRX. The hose sits just below the charcoal canister and comes out from the chassis rail. It doesn't seen to connect to anything. It's about 6-8mm internal diameter.

Any clues on what this is for?
