You may be onto something there. My springs are 800lb front and rear and it has been valved by DMS for tarmac work, so I guess it's to be expected. On smooth tarmac they are truely exceptional but on bumpy tarmac (i.e. perth roads) they are less than comfortable. Rail crossings were always a fun time....

I did daily drive the car for 6 months with them in there though.

Mine is track only so hard to say what it would be like on a long trip though others using MCA and these spring rates have also commented that they were surprisingly compliant and better/softer than lower spring rates in other coilovers, 800lb is pretty high for tarmac, 450/550 tarmac, 700/800 circuit so maybe 600/600 for a compromise ?

Sorry, I meant circuit, somehow that came accross as tarmac....

It was never "bad" to drive on the road in the sense that it would jump around and lift wheels over bumps (in fact it was really good) etc, it just wasn't comfortable. It never really bothered me but no one enjoyed being a passenger.
