Are you sure?

There is a guy selling an 05 STi DCCD and claims it has a suretrack in it..

Code is TY856WB4KA

Also with the stub axle and seal conversion, is it a split the box job, or just pop them in and out as is?

TY856WB4KA is NOT 2005. that is 2004.

2005 6 speeds end with a 6xx. IE.. TY856WB6KA

The old seals get pryed out and the new ones just get hammered in lightly and the stubs just clip right in. its a 10 minute job.

2 way is definitely on the cards

P.S. is the Legacy 6 speed gearset the same as the Impreza 6 speed gearset? I know about the diff and speedo drive differences, but are the gearsets physically the same?

Legacy gearset has wider ratios. Even more so than the ADM 06+ STI wide ratio 6 speeds
