it takes 10 minutes a side if you know what your doing
ask protofrodge, i changed his in about half an hour

ive done shafts between drag races at kwinana motorplex, hot on the dyno and casually at home- you can generally do a rear shaft in about 15 minutes or a front shaft in around half an hour. you just need a 19mm socket, 32mm socket, breaker bar, (a brass drift if the axle is lodged in the hub) a small mallet and a 14mm spanner to undo the swaybar (if you run a super tough one)
