just thinking about buying a FMIC for my 1999 WRX ... currently have a APS CAI fitted and would like to keep it ... is that possible?

my process west CAI had to be modified a little to fit in with my process west FMIC....little bit of chopping and trail and error involved but it fitted.

might be able to dig some engine bay pics up, they arent taken specifically on this area. Car is apart now so can't take any for you.

EDIt: better pics than i thought.... HERE Doesnt really show you whats going on in the guard but you get a fair idea, and questions just ask!

ok thanks for that .. those pics look good to me .. umm my WRX has an extra cut out a little further back towards the firewall about the same size that the CAI goes thru .. could that be used for intercooler piping ? or is it just for show?

Put a bigger top mount instead...unless you like lag...

mine had the middle of those 2 holes cut out so its just one big cut out, makes it easier when trying to fit the 2 in.
