When I arrive at my destination, I just sit there for an extra 2 minutes idling ...everyone in the street watches me & wonders what I'm going to do, it's so nervewracking, what will he do!?!

Then I turn the car off, slowly step out & look around while putting on my Aviators.

Man I feel cool.

As said not necessary mechanically.

Food for thought.

1. A manual car should be left in gear which you can't do if you leave it idling. Do you really trust your hand brake?

2. Do you really trust the idle timer to work properly and the alarm arm correctly after it shuts down.

3. Whats your insurance company going to say if you leave it idling and it gets pinched.

Remember if you leave it in a regular spot a thief only needs it to run far enough to get round the corner onto a waiting car trailer.

I had one in the classic cos it was already fitted. Used it a few times the first month cos it was cool but never bothered after that. Best to drive sensibly the last km or so to everywhere you park ( most importantly home ) is a good policy to stick to and is all your turbo needs as a bonus.

But that doesn't mean they will forgive you for peeping in the bedroom window when Granny is getting changed.

Waste of kesh.

just use the brant as a idea of how long to leave it running if your concerned.

If the turbo dies it gives you an excuse to upgrade it anyway.
