Default where to get a turbo timer in perth

where's the best place in perth (pref closer to freo) to get a turbo timer installed, and roughly the cost involved...

good idea for a wrxy yes or no??

Which car did you buy?

Are they useful... No.

Can you get them installed... Yes.

Would anyone bother... No.

Said many times on here, not needed. If you want one, you can have my old HKS unit for free.

Any decent workshop (http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanicals/6775-perth-workshops.html) should be able to install it, or even an auto electrician place such as Deering Automotive might be able to. It is a similar process to installing an immobiliser in your car, as it hooks up to the same wires.

WRX turbos are oil and water cooled, so as long as you aren't on full boost right up to your parking spot, it should cool down itself quite sufficiently.

So yes, basically on WRX's, they are seen as rather unnecessary and just used for 'wank factor'

I got my one put in at RMS cost me like $100. Im sure that you can get someone to put it in cheaper than that but I was getting a service at the same time.

Also the water keeps circulating after shutdown so is pointless.
