I thought the purpose of the turbo timer was to allow your turbo to cool down so that it doesn't cook the oil that is left sitting inside the turbo when the car is turned off. Hence you get longer life from your engine oil, which gets changed every 5000k's anyway.

Slow down when I get home??? That's where I know where the speed cameras aren't. Slow down before I park at work, but I am always running late. Car stolen while idling, install the handbrake sensor so the car shuts off if the handbrake is disengaged.
