V-mount means no aircon and taking an angle grinder to your front radiator support right?

Go with the TMIC as suggested if it's only a street car and spend the saved money on beer!

Nope top radiator support bar remains, the bottom one is cut but replaced with the engineered bottom radiator support. Air con goes also but, This is for the process west one..

But there are heaps of companies that make vmount kits which dont require cutting i.e power enterprise etc..

What do you need a cooler for? Just drive it and let it cool down for a few minutes!

if you insist on going fmic at least do it properly and reverse your intake manifold..... it will reduce your pipe length from 5km to 2km

^ That is a solid opinion and good idea.

But, if you do not want the adventure/hassle of this, at least buy a decent FMIC kit. Youll find the piping if you spend more, is shorter. (maybe circa 3km in this example... lol).

And (matt) black powder coat the lot. It works, and looks mint.

Brent.

EDIT: Insert ProcessWest recommendation here. Grab a CAI that compliments (fits with) it whilst youre at it...

Greedy does a nice kit to suit a GC8, friend of mine used to have one on his GC8 and it was neat, piping was neat and ran underneath the headlight, others seem to run alot lower towards the bottom of the bumper.

do whatever suits your driving needs, if you intend on continuing to put more power into the car and upgrade lots in the coming years, then don't waste money on a new tmic, wait until you are doing big power mods to do fmic. FMIC don't have to be more laggy and less responsive, it all comes down to the setup, pipework length and diameter etc... work out what your outcome is for all the work you want to do and fit parts to suit that...

p.s: most of the japanese kits fit much better than china kits for fmic, i.e: you get what you pay for
