Default Fmic vs tmic

Hey guys,
i was just interested in changing from a TMIC to a FMIC as i have seen many cars with FMIC and i thought it would be a much better set up. But i have spoken to a few people and they recommend staying with the TMIC. Just wanted any info on what the best set up would be?
cheers

stick with a tmic, its safer and more responsive.

fmic's are prone to stones and introduce complications unless you have an aftermarket ecu to account for the change in the load to the engine.

fit it all at once and tune. dont be a student and wreck the engine before you fit the ecu!

Stick to what tuna said and you'll be fine.

TMIC = responsive, safe, best option for a daily (I'm assuming it's a daily driver?)
FMIC = more lag, better suited to a serious setup (not worth the complications for a daily driver).

cheers dude...i mean i dont drive the thing every day...probs once a week...but i still want it to be reliable...and smooth etc but at the same time as quick as that allows me to go without messing about too much! so i think so far TMIC is the go!
