Default Pwr steering failing

ey guys. Over the past 2 months or so my pwr steering has slowly gotten worse and worse and now it has pretty much packed it in and only works every now and then or after a good hard drive. Im usually good at mechanical stuff but this has me stumped it has always leaked since i got the car so i know the fluid is virtually brand new. Does anybody have any idea on what the problem is? Power steering pumps for a 94 would be hard to come by im guessing.

try parts west / japenese wholesale / any other subaru wrecker, or probably a wanted post in the classifieds forum.
