Default Upper Engine Cleaner

Hey all,

I just realized that I have never used UEC when doing a service on my car (approx every 6months/5000km). I just did a service about couple of weeks ago and would like to know if it is ok to use UEC after the oil has been changed?
Sorry if this has been covered, but I searched and couldn't find the answer. Elsewhere on the interwebs people are of mixed opinions, some saying before and after. Thanks

Adi

I have always done it before. My line of thought is that any crap that is flushed through will be removed with the old oil extending the life of the new oil.

Adi

P.S. GX-REX, I do agree with you thinking, and I will do that in the future, but if Subaru does it after, can't see it harming the engine

before or after, it doesnt matter.. as long as you do it into all cylinders evenly!

why would it matter anyway? it goes through the intake, cylinders, exhaust, has no contact with the oil you drain out??
