Dunno what it is but looks exactly the same as wetsuit or stubby holder material ( same stuff ) but thinner, the one I got had either French or German instructions but it's the genuine thing & plugged straight in, $164 landed from eBaY. I've got a sheet of wetsuit material if you want to grab a bit & leave it in a jar of petrol for a week to see if it breaks down. 0422317000. One thing you could do is rip it out (10 min) and get a piece of fuel line, split it so it opens then wedge it between the pump & bracket then put a couple of good quality cable ties around the pump & bracket so it is secure.

I Think i might try Balistics idea with the fuel / solvent proof rubber. Another project for the weekend i think.

The strange thing though is that this morning there was no noise @ all on the drive to work - but this afternoon it was hummming away. "Must get cranky in the arvo's "

Thanks guys for all your replys - ill let you know how i go.
