Default Power Enterprise RX6R turbo kit + V-Mount intercooler

Hi all,

Call it a little bit of dreaming, but I'd call it research i.e. looking at every turbo option on the market.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of any good things about this turbo kit? I know that PE turbos have been a fail in the past i.e. the PE1820 and 1818, but this one is an untouched IHI RX6R, with PE having a had in creating the rest of the kit around it, rather than tweaking the turbo like with the 1820/1818.

http://www.powerenterpriseusa.net/pr...a/inprreza.htm

There are a range of compressor and turbine options, which are apparently rated from "350 up to 550whp".

Its definitely bling, and with the Power Enterprise ARC V-Mount kit, its the coolest of JDM cool.. I'm also interested in seeing results from this cooler kit.

Just seeing if anyone has any good evidence of its use, as I can't really find much!

I'd go the PW V-mount over this one, Its a better design IMO with stepped rad and flusher fitment. Still thinking about it for mine.

Just by way of interest Joe. Whats wrong with your current setup? Need more flow than the STI TM can handle?

Nothing wrong with it mate.. very happy with the response and torque I'm currently experiencing, I'm not changing anything for the time being except for installing more bits I have on my bench (tarmac gear centre diff for SKIDDZZZZ)

BUT, if I magically find $10k spare on a money tree somewhere, I might fork out for the Power Enterprise turbo and intercooler kit just to see how it goes

Also when I say I wanna buy Riggs current setup, its another TMIC.. just a different one

Change for changes sake when you are plenty happy with what you have?

It's what I've always done TJ.. I've never been unhappy with what I have, I just like to try different things!

Probably why I'm on my 3rd intercooler, 2nd turbo, 2nd ECU, 4th set of rims, 3rd set of struts, 2nd exhaust, etc etc

WRONG. Have done a few of those too, albeit a few years ago.
