Nothing special. MY01+ standard ECU and Ecutek has this function.

Or you can experimenting with trying orifice sizes in your waste gate line
I ran one in my old rex with a VF22 and front mount and other mods of course. People who drove in the car, couldnt believe how quick it came on to max boost of 20 psi..... Have minimal lag and felt like I had a TD05 on it from factory..... Speak to Leigh at RMS as we played with the different sizes then tuned the car to suit....... If you have a standard ecu dont bother..........
