Currently there is a worldwide shortage of Cosworth Main Bearings and there is no current ETA as to when they'll be getting/making any more.

Can anyone suggest a brand I can use as an alternative to Cosworth, that will either be of the same quality or higher? Preferably something that will be available easily and won't have to be shipped from overseas.

Cosworth bearings are just ACL's that are coated. ACL's are in worldwide shortage so thats why.

Stock bearings are a good alternative.

ACL are in receivership which might explain why there is a shortage.
