Default Crank Pulley

Hey guys just a quick one. My crank pulley on my '98 wrx is making a horrible noise and been told it needs to be replaced asap. I have recently undergone an engine swap, from an ej20 to an ej22. The pulley on the ej20 is still good, so I'm wondering if it would fit the 22, save me buying a brand new one. If anyone knows or could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Or.. do i really need to buy a brand new one? If so, genuine?

Thanks, Sam

Replace your belts and make sure they have the right tension on them. Use carby cleaner to get all grease or grime off the pulleys before the new belts go on.

It has 2 belts.....

Does it squeel when you turn the steering wheel or when the A/c kicks in?

but if the keyway is worn, no matter how much you tighten it, it won't stay on there tight, i'd say your best bet would be to remove it, compare to your ej20 one & if it appears same same, swap it over
