Power steering loss.
Lost power steering on the freeway today. Pulled over and a belt is missing from the front. Easy fix? Can any garage replace it?

Yup, anyone can replace it, including you. Can't remember if the A/C belt needs to be taken off first though.
Adi *edit* Noup, it doesn't. Loosen the bolts holding the alternator, loosen the slider bolt, remove belt, put new belt, tighten it, do up the alternator bolts and you're done. |

LOL he doesn't need to remove the belt if their isn't one there! If your not confident in doing it yourself any garage can do it! Shouldn't be more than $50-$80 as they always charge half n hour labour when it takes 5min!

Power steering doesn't run off the water pump aswell does it?

nah mate, the timing belt runs the water pump
