Default Power steering loss.

Lost power steering on the freeway today. Pulled over and a belt is missing from the front. Easy fix? Can any garage replace it?

Yup, anyone can replace it, including you. Can't remember if the A/C belt needs to be taken off first though.

*edit* Noup, it doesn't. Loosen the bolts holding the alternator, loosen the slider bolt, remove belt, put new belt, tighten it, do up the alternator bolts and you're done.

LOL he doesn't need to remove the belt if their isn't one there! If your not confident in doing it yourself any garage can do it! Shouldn't be more than $50-$80 as they always charge half n hour labour when it takes 5min!
