Adding this to the list of things to do. Used to take the car to MMS for my servicings, with whom I was very happy with, but I want to save some cash and try doing it myself from now on. Done the oil and filter and air filter a couple of weeks ago.

Tomorrow diving in a bit deeper and doing the following:

1- Brake Fluid
2- Coolant
3- Power Steering Fluid
4- Upper Engine Cleaner

Hope it all goes ok and I dont have to get back on here looking for answers to possible problems. I have done alot of searching and think I have it sussed.

In a few months I plan to do the gearbox and rear diff oil too and of course the fuel filter.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

As much as I encourage the DIY may I add that many experienced mechanics f**k up perfectly good Subarus by driving them with an airlock after changing the coolant.
Make sure you put back as much as you dain out.

Also, changing brake fluid, flushing it through and bleeding the system needs to be done with care. Afterall, it is the braking system. Get some help if you havn't done it before.
Brake fluid damages paint too.
