So I capped of the trumpet, un screwed the adjustment screw and its a 100 percent improvement.
The caps temporary though, i'll get on to that mob for a proper cap!

too easy, yeah the plastic threaded cap shouldn't cost too much, they usually come with the kit when you buy them brand new, part number GFB6107

I rang MTQ, the only cap they have is a "push in cap" thats explained as a cap to block the plum back side of the valve. He was un sure of a cap for the trumpet side that would surely have a thread on it to hold the EPIC BOOOOOST back

Anyone know of a model number?

Remove it all together mate.

Had one of these originally and the fuel savings alone will cover the cost of any alternative!

On my Bugeye increased fuel economy of 50kms per tank!

Yeah im trying everywhere to find a stock one. Not doing to well :S
I just want to quite the thing up a bit so my gf doesn't get picked on while i'm on my next stint.

what about the fmic & pod you had on there untuned?

that gfb bov is a good unit, great for holding boost, the only way it would affect fuel economy is bacause its holding shut tight & you're getting better spool up over the stock pos bov

So on my way from Canningvale to Mundaring tonight (my usual daily run) I noticed the "woosh" has gone and in replace is just a nice little sneeze.. Noice!
