PSR Silicon intake
hey guys bought a pro speed intake and the short fat bit, wondering how you join the 2 together? turbo -> long L shaped peice -> short fat peice (dow do you join them toghter? they seem to be the same diamiter, was thinking a peice of pipe to slide into both of them them clamping them?)
cheers for the help matt |

^^ Yep, i did the same. Only a small ~50mm bit of pipe inside to get 2 ring clamps on.

So you have one of these two? You see the silver bit, on the end of the L one, that should be on / in there to clamp the fat piece too. The silver piece on my Perrin intake moved and needed two clamps, but depending on the build you should / may get away with one.
As for the turbo to L piece, should slip over and use one clamp, as per old plastic piece. Hope this helps.

Just so you know, some of these intakes may require you to lift / remove the intake manifold to get it in / old piece out. Did it come with any instructions? Also, contact pro speed and ask them how are you supposed to join them together. I would think they should supply the part you require to join the L and the fat piece. I may be wrong though.

Get some 3 inch intercooler tubing, cut and add weld to create lip and done.
I have a PSR intake, best method to get it in is lube it up, then use cable ties to make the diameter smaller and elbow grease it in. |
