@ Jezza. Yea thanks for the info, Ive got tomorrow off work and currently at uni so I will get the old man to help me sort it out in the daylight rather than when we checked it last nigth with shit light.

@ stoff. I will try this tomorrow. What you say does make sense.

I will keep the thread updated as to what to problem is exactly and what i did to fix the issue.

Isn't there another heat shield mounting bracket underneath the turbo? if the heatshield is not bolted onto it, it can be loose, but it shouldn't sound like that video though

Can't you do it with your hand on the throttle body assembly thing (where the accelerator cable connects)?

My car has the exact same issue, started happening after it was stolen. It's just usual wear'n'tear on the gearbox/clutch- And very common in wrx's according to rexnet- if you would like i can search through my car folder and pull out the exact link as after pulling apart my gbox/clutch and checking all shields my mechanic was stumped and did a little internet research.

Mine is a LOUD rattle/viabration and can be felt through the gearstick/clutch pedal. I wouldn't be worried.

Mine had to of been the exhaust or a heat shield, as The car felt exactly the same as normal. I couldn't feel any difference in the gear stock or pedal :S

Its gone now tho, so hopefully it wont come back
