You'll learn pretty quickly not to over tighten oil filters when your only choice of getting it off is with a large screwdriver and a hammer

Genuine oil filters only, cold start oil pressure on an EJ engine can cause non-gen filters to split.

IN the future, make sure you let the dealer use their own oil and filters, rather than having the dealer install your supplied non-genuine parts.
Being genuine, you KNOW the stuff works, and there is no arguments should a genuine part fail after being installed by a dealer. |
