hey does anyone know if the wrx 02 stock springs are the same for an 03 one, cos im thinking of buying the 03 for my 2002 rex??

and the legal standard that a car can be lowered? cos i need to get it relicenced and take it to the pitz as they are really strict?? plus im not sure if they will allow a 3inch down pipe??

Car need to be a minimum of 100mm off the ground, fully loaded. That means the lowest part of the car, not just the bumpers etc.

3" dump pipe is fine, so long as the overall exhaust noise is below 90 something dB (I forget the actual figure).

Also, its PITS not PITZ!

03 springs should be fine as far as i'm aware

i'm swapping my struts and springs this weekend so if for some reason those^^^ don't work out for you just give me a buzz

cheers guy for the info and pits is the place at the licencing centre where they check ur car for an inspection im pretty sure, and havent measure it but all i can say its low haha:P

Kato, I thought that for cars it is 81db as per Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1977
