You really need to decide what exactly you want to do with the car...if just a daily driver, just enjoy it as is...it's agreat package...but if serious daily driver + regular track car, then in the future maybe think about things like swaybars, links, better brake pads and rotors, a bit more performance...and the list goes on. If more the latter, then talk to guys on here who regularly track cars like yours...ie Beernuts and Bruce.

Steve, useless post is useless!
back on topic or I shut it. Take your bitching to Private Messaging. Agree with Dave, even a stock STI will roll like the SS Minojohnson... Also agree with Russ, track it first, push the limits, then try and work out what you need to do to fix it, then try break the limits again! |

Russ has a point - if you are on a budget throwing 1k ebay coilovers in it wont make it better.

My budget and my wife's budget are different things. The stock STi (doing it on purpose now) is pretty bloody good, so I'm not desperate to change anything straight away. All I'm asking is what should I be looking at doing in the future. Not sure if I'll ever do a track day with it, I've been threatening to do one on the bike, but haven't got round to it in a year so far, so taking the STi is even less likely.
I suppose I just wanted to hear other enthusiasts POV and so far there have been a few good responses in this post, but only a few. I'll keep looking around for ideas...

ok mate forget my earlier suggestion:
1. Tint 2. Hyper Super Loud blow off valve (much much quicker shifts and spool times, easily 2-3 seconds less 1/4 mile)

No, I liked your earlier suggestion, as I've been considering not doing anything to the sti knowing that the bike will always go quicker. It is already booked in for some tint though
