Hi.. Have just got my car back and noticed that if i let the car rev down from about 3000rpm and then accelerate it chuffs out some blue smok. But on idle, and driving along and cold start it does not smoke? Other then the smoke it runs and srives beautiful. Any help would be greatly appreciated

blue smoke = burning oil

over-filled the oil?

mate brought from me 2months ago but had some big debts so had to sell. So i brought back last night. Thinking its maybe a turbo seal or ?

If the oil is over-filled it would usually continuously blow blue smoke, but if you let it idle and stab the throttle it usually means valve stem seals. Possibly blow-by as well? Check your compression's!

If your compression's fail you can do a leak down test which will tell you if its from your rings or valves - lol just take it to a workshop!

^^ Remember to check oil on flat surface!! Had some LOL's from people checking oil level on hills and then topping it up! Drained 8L of oil from a lancer once .

lol! yeah i made sure i had it in the shed. oil level seems to be fine think i might be asking for my money back!
