If you have over 3000kms on the oil you might want to send it off for an oil test which might give you a few more clues!

While revvin down there is a vacuum built up in the head, I'd say it's valve stem oil seals. Go to down a hill while in 3rd gear but don't hit accelator and see if it blows blue smoke. If so its valve stem oil seals
