Default Possible throw out bearing issue ??

hey everyone,

getting a sqeeking sort of sound at idle on startup and after a long stop and start city run.

belts are tight, but when i engage the clutch the noise goes away ?

i think its the throw out bearing but i dont know enough about it.

the clutch isnt slipping or anything like that... is this something to worry about or is it standard wear and tear ?

whats one of those go for these days with labour ?

cheers

all good peoples... rang my vendor...

appears to be because of the heat + wear n tear...

for people looking in the future - 400 to drop the box down and replace the bearing or between 900 and 1200 fitted for a aftermarket clutch that comes with a new bearing / FW / PP anyways...aparently its common in wrx's. the noise comes and goes or stays for ever not necessarily getting worse... however if left in a bad state you can damage your pressure plate...

yea unfortunate aye man, mines only done 35k... i asked him if its my driving and he said no its very common...

i dont launch etc... anyways but even if i did a few times... at 35k i would expect better...

not gonna lie tho ive had trouble with my clutch since brand new as well as my handbrake (dont even get me started haha) off the floor not that subaru dealer cared much... just changed my oil like 3 times in 3 months LOL.... so if it goes it goes... il probably go exedy they seem to own the market really with there good prices...
