Mind taking a few photos of the "airflow grid" on the inside of the COBB CAI, just want to satisfy my curiosity.

The COBB unit (from the quick eyeballing) will need some time spent recalibrating the MAF tables for the change in flow, most CAI's alter flow patterns so a little tuning is required.

Speaking of.............

I got my AEM CAI delivered today, had a quick look and noticed it had a plastic insert right near the MAF sensor - breaking up the airflow to the sensor??

Did the Cobb have anything like that?

Would someone mind explaining all those acronyms for a novice? I know the Turbo Back Exhaust one and haven't tried google for the others yet...

Yep, very similar. Apparently it helps to reduce turbulence.

AEM = brand name
CAI = cold air induction/intake

Yeah sorry, I guess you kind of forget that many people dont have a clue about the acronyms. Maybe P-WRX needs an acronym list?

Bugger, thought it might have been a point of difference between them (ie no issues with the AEM like you unfortunately had with the Cobb).
