Happy days!

Perhaps the 99-00 PFC's don't throw a CEL due to their factory map having a higher pressure ceiling & apexi have changed the software to suit on those models?

I don't have an additional Map sensor on mine (nor have any that I've tuned) & never had that CEL/boost kit issue pop up.

Even on the Datalogit user group there was no mention of it.

Happy the additional MAP sorted your issue.

Sorry mate I missed this Q!

PFC's flash the CEL for:

Knock value over set threshold (35 is default)
MAF @ >4.95 volts
100% injector duty

(Flashes are all different patterns)

CEL stays lit with ignition on for:
Crank/ cam trigger open circuit
Ignition driver fault (Pfc internal)
Injector driver fault (Pfc internal)
Missing sensor input or sensor over voltage

It seems there are different variations for lots of different models, reading numerous different forums. As you said though Rossco "Happy Days", problem sorted.

There did not seem to be much info on my particular issue. The boost cut side of things, when the boost kit was off. Hopefully this thread will help people on both PWRX & anyone else who searches for it.

Thanks again for the information & advice Rossco & T to the J.

Its a 3 bar sensor, I think the the advertised limit is 1.8 bar of manifold pressure.
