alot of people are opening up their blocks these days....must really suck when something goes wrong, i know how pissed i'd be.

Luckily I havn't had any issues with mine yet.....done 6000kms and oil level has dropped about 10% if anything at all, however under sustained high boost the oil catch can does see some oil...

do you guys have the can empty or do you pack it with something like steel wool?

the idea is to have it baffled (steel wool works) so that it 'catches' the oil and returns fresh air. with no sort of baffling or air scrubbing, all you are doing is returning the same oily air back to your motor.
