G'day Alpha,
Just wondering if your problem has been resolved? I'm chasing a similar issue with my gc8. Cheers Aaron |

Couldn't make it to STechnic had to ring Dave and postpone the inspection due to being rushed back to work "sigh.... If you can't make a shift at least let them know a few days before your swing starts"
Have purchased an electronic boost controller and will fit that soon. So far: Boost hitting 20psi then dropping down to 10psi then up/down sometimes it's fine. Replaced all vacuum pipes. Quadruple checked restrictor pill. Replaced vacuum lines again. Replaced Subaru boost control unit. Replaced vacuum lines again. Ecu reset. Removed and refitted all FMIC pipe work. Replaced spark plugs. Changed oil. Purchased electronic boost controller. - fitting it soon.

Electronic boost controller now fitted.
Cars running perfectly. Holds boost at 15/16 psi with no problems at all. I believe both my factory boost controllers are fine and I simply can't explain why when using them the boost was spiking so much. Car feels much better to drive. Still needs to be checked when I get some free time but regardless the beast is alive.
