I've got a cannon style 3" TBE and it's not loud on anything under 3000rpm. over that, it opens up and sounds great yet without being heard 10kms away. Been pulled over 3 times for "random" breath test, and the only thing i got asked by the cop is if i had the BOV. To which i replied "no".

3" TBE no cat HKS racing pipe, gold hue back box with 4" tip hehd totally lurve the boxer rumble, thats what made me fell in love with scooby in the 1st place.

I do have a manual xhaust valve plate fitted at the dwnpipe/midpipe junction tho, when engaged it really mutes the xhaust note to just almost like a whisper . . .very handy when the 5-0 around
