So you say fan > water. What if i put a fan, with water . Run 12V to a relay, switch the relay from under the dash, run the other side of the relay too the fan motors and washer bottle in parallel, and they should both activate at once. Hmmmmm perhaps we are onto something here! Thanks for the idea guys.....Least i know how to run the wiring. Thanks for the offer on the water tank, i will have a look around and see what i need to gather prior too purchasing stuff that i may never use if the plan falls through. EDIT. I just realised mym error in this plan. The fans would want to be on for a good amount of time, and the water wouldnt want to be on for too long. Id have too run seperate relays/switches. Le sigh!

What if you set it so that when you turn the switch on it gives a quick squirt of water then delays say 1min and the fans run constant? then 1min later water again etc.

Having fans on the intercooler is a terrible idea. I've seen rally cars pull fans off the front of radiators before as they simply restrict flow when they are not on.
Putting fans behind the intercooler to draw air through would work when not moving, but you'd want them to be awesome fans and engineered for the cooler. When doing 100kph, i'd be worried about the i/c working propertly due to the fans directly behind it. Waterspray is still the go. I just run a Hobbs pressure switch @ 15psi hooked to washer bottle. Run a few sprayers and you're done. |

I posted the fans just to show something different and for lols.
I use the waterspray system. I also run a Hobbs pressure switch @ about 13psi hooked to dual pump washer bottle with the genuine sprayers.
