Youre just better off buying the full Apexi Power Intake which comes with the section of the piping where the afm goes, and yeh they are really quite good filter although have never performed tests like this, should be aroun 150 for the full kit

tenagah just did a group buy on apexi's maybe you could get them to do another. i think it worked out to 140 new.

Ebay has apexi pods for $90 + $20 post. Or is the $140 for a whole kit for my01+?

I found the whole kit with afm adapter and gaskets etc for 250 on modyourcar...

might have to get it from there as it has everything needed to mount in a my01+
the bugeye kit is model number Apexi 507 F004

Does anyone use/recommend the Apexi panel filter as I would prefer to keep the stock airbox with cold air intake. I had a pod filter before and it gave me dramas.....

Full Apexi Power intake kit is ussually around the $250 mark... which includes everything... It does vary for different models tho!...
