In 60 minutes the AC Filter accumulated 574gms of dirt and passed only 0.4gms. After only 24 minutes the K&N had accumulated 221gms of dirt but passed 7.0gms. Compared to the AC, the K&N “plugged up” nearly 3 times faster, passed 18 times more dirt and captured 37% less dirt. See the data tables for a complete summary of these comparisons.

How do they compare price wise? Wonder if AC Delco make them, cos looking at these & other google results I've seen they are about all I'd recomend.

Bought mine through Perfect Run.. Cost was about $120 inc shipping..

Not sure if AC make them, I can check the packaging tonight and see..

crap, wish i read the article sooner. i bought the crappiest of the lot, the HKS one. i was suckered by Hot 4's and HPI magazines into getting it since all their HP rangers mostly ran HKS pods. oh well...you only stumble onto these facts AFTER you spent cash.

Trust me, the HKS pod is shit.

Other brands are half the price and much better.... Hindsights a bitch i guess and i often regret paying the money for mine. $220+ for a brand name and nothing else!

ha ha ha. ya, my HKS pod cost me that too. i was pretty happy with it, after reading it, all i got left is a brand name.

I doubt they would have anything to gain by telling lies & if it was false I'm pretty sure they would have one huge law suit on thier hands. But whatever floats your boat.
