The original cluster was a little bit screwed as some of the lights were dimming so decided to change to the jdm cluster with the rev meter in the center.

plugged it in and did a test run, everything works fines but after a couple minutes of driving the check engine light will start to flash. this happens everytime after start up. no light then light after driving. little bit strange because the light wasnt going off in the last cluster (may have been because it was broken...). fuel relays and fans are working a little bit over time when ignition is on so im thinking it may actually be a cel code which has popped up? but not entirely sure, its a sunday too damn.

cluster has dccd but my car doesnt, would this make a difference? are the pins the same? any help would be good but otherwise may have to bring it out to a workshop during the week.
