Default up pipe random noise

Any ideas?

this is what ive done, ive changed my wrx up pipe to an aftermarket one, looks like this:

http://fast-ms.com/products/FMS-EXT-100.jpg (the top one with the flex pipe)

if i revv the car its fine, but in gear and hitting boost (14psi, stock boost) the car seems to have this weird noise that has only started after the up pipe install. Its hard to explain but imagine rolling your tongue but with a bit of moisture, like it sounds like dripping really quickly, but also has a bit of a rumble to it obviously. sorry if that makes no sense but its hard to explain

the first thing im thinking is perhaps its the gaskets? I put a new gasket on the turbo to downpipe and turbo to up pipe. a new gasket from up pipe to exhaust manifold. but of course i got excited and installed new up pipe while the gaskets arrived for the manifold to the header as well as manifold to cross pipe, so maybe there is a leak there?

is there a specific way to tighten the up pipe, like manfiold to up pipe, then tighten on the turbo? I tightened the nights quite tight, close the to the torque settings but maybe thats not enough either? its just weird it does it only on load, not revving, so maybe turbo as well? it still hits boost though perfectly fine! Obviously you can tighten the wastegate arm a little to hold more pressure, maybe thats the issue? have checked all hoses as well.

Any ideas/suggestions to look at would be appreciated!!

Cheers,
Josh

I don't know about that particular brand but let me say that every one of the cheap E-Bay ones I've attempted to fit, don't.
I have a box full of them, on a car last week I trial fitted 4 different ones and gave up in disgust and went back to a Subaru one.
The flex join hits the back of the cylinder head preventing the gasket from sufficiently clamping.

sorry to sound stupid here, but the flex pipe is about half way along the up pipe and nothing is touching the pipe? so i dont get what you mean by its hitting the pipe
