hey all

just started doing this funny noise this morning. drove it yesterday prob 100kms everything fine not a problem, started it this morning made a strange noise when it first started but then everything was ok drove it to work everything seemed fine gave it some hardish acceleration didn't make a noise in forth and third gear all ok not a noise pulled up to park drove forward abit in first knocking noise could be heard. started it now to go to lunch knock noise when it first started then nothing, drove home the noise would make it in 1st 2nd and 3rd but only when changing gear, the throughout bearing has been squealing for awhile now. this afternoon it made the noise on the very first start up, nufin at idle and it makes the noise on gear changes but not everytime, can feel it through the clutch pedal tho. put a screw driver on a few things seems worse on the block but there is noise when on the gearbox. the car is standard with only 118000km on it, full service history nothing has been missed, just wondering if anyone has some ideas where to start looking?

sorry about the first post doesn't make much sense. ended up being no2 big end which is disappointing on a standard car with only 118000km on it. looks like I get to make it bigger and better now
