Default Engine block temp

Hey guys just wondering if anyone would know what temp the engine block gets to? Particular around the front of the block where the timing cover sits. I was thinking it would be around the temp the coolant gets to roughly 110 C but i'm just guessing and i don't have access to a temp gun .

Cheers
Paul
