nicksrex 21-10-2006 08:59 AM

would heat wraping your intake have any benifits or not enough to warrent the price?
If i was going to wrap it it would be around the stock black plastic piping, would metal piping be better? Also soursing a box for my pod to fit in a 98. :D

chee 21-10-2006 09:19 AM

money can be better spent else where.

waxdass 21-10-2006 09:20 AM

ceramic coat is the way to go

tuna 21-10-2006 10:00 AM

ceramic coat before you wrap.

nicksrex 21-10-2006 01:08 PM

where do you get that done and how much?

werticusness 21-10-2006 01:13 PM

If you have NOTHING, then you're going to start to melt your brake booster and whatever else is around :)

ceramic coats can crack, so coat and warp is the best option.

Theres mine all wrapped up nice, as done by Tenagah.

chee 21-10-2006 06:57 PM

wrapping is more prone to cracking than ceramic coating.

nicksrex 22-10-2006 04:07 PM

so roughly how much it it to get done, and do you coat and wrap past the cat or just too it?
