Brandt Issue ?
A mate has a 2005 wrx auto sedan, all stock minus the HID lights. Today we where driving and the car just cut out all the lights on the dash came on then the car restarted. Then we where driving again this afternoon and the cut cut out fully with the lights on the dash all coming on. We pulled over to the side and tried to start it but it wouldn't kick over. We finally got it to start after waiting for a while, we even tried to start it in vale mode with no luck. We waited re-entered the code and it started fine. I said to him there was a good chance it was the alarm, however i wanted to see other peoples feedback.
Thanks

Yep common Brandt alarm issue, have it removed and replaced with the same setup from Autowatch

Sounds exactly the same as previous posters. Remove it all shall be good once more.
