Default Help Wanted: Gear Dependent Boost Tables

People
I am after some help with my Motec M800 in setting up Gear Dependent Boost Tables. Bill Gates would be proud...the unit was bought in January and its now running the "old" software.
I currently don't have a lap top so thats hurdle one. I basically want to use the features of the Motec to pull some boost in higher gears.

Any help appreciated.

Bit of both.
I visited the Wok Thursday and Sean dropped some boost between 3000 rpm and 5500 rpm. I had a few concerns over engine longevity when regularly topping 1.4 bar in 3rd and 1.5 in 4th

With GDBT I could add this back in for first and second and reduce it for 3rd to 5th. Its one of the main reasons I upgraded to Motec.

I think you'll need a gear sensor to do that..

motec can calculate your gears with engine revs vs ground speed against a gear ratio table, upto 10 gears worth

Yes, its the original untouched block that Mr Subaru bolted in himself from the factory. 3.9 oem ratios as well.

Morgan, I run Gear corrected boost on my motec but I'm on 3.3 software. I also run the standard WRX 3.9 front ratio however I no longer have a 1.1:1 drop gear (ie I run a 3.9 rear ratio instead of the standard 3.54) If I can help in any way, feel free to ask.

Darren
