what mods do you have?
how were you driving the car prior?
how is the car driving now?

i have found its good to get a background on what the CEL is / means...but the best thing to do is to get subaru to pull the code.....

ps..i know of this on th GC/GF series....there is two black connectors under the steering wheel that if you connect them and then turn ingnition to start the CEL will flash to communicate what CEL code it is ie: 2 short 2 long = code 22 (knock sensor) dont know if this is applicable for your series

I have exhaust, headers, air filter, vf22, fmic, boost controller.
I was driving quite hard on 2nd gear hit 1.2 bar and slowed down on 3rd and let the car roll till the driveway of my home. Once Im there, I see the light turned on.

The car is still driving fine.
I unplugged the batteries, pump my brakes to drain the power, and plug it back on.
Its been reset, and now the CEL is off.

Just want to know whats the common problems for these model.
Anyway, Im booked in this friday at Subaru Melville.

or u could just turn ur car on and off 4 times and it should go away
common cause is too much boost and u hit the boost cut
engine check light is for kids
if it stays on for more than a week or your car doesnt start or run properly then you have problems
i find the computers in the later model wrxs are very smart it would take a lot to kill it

just a thought airflow meter leaves the cel on wen its unplugged so maybe its playin up

Yea, the only problem is that the car seems to stink of some smell.
Not sure what it is but it does smells like rubber or something.

And the boost is SO MUCH laggy that before :P

I think its best o go to subaru ya.
And no, I dont have UTEC.
