I'm sure I have the same intake pipe on my GC, running a GD manifold too. I'll have to have a look when I'm next close to the car.

You will notice in the pics of the intakes that some kink past the tgv's. Perhaps loosen the turbo and up-pipe bolts first to give some wiggle room.

Another thing you need to do is rip it out and compare length with your old one, we had to cut at least 2cm off the turbo end on mine, in fact we had to cut a few bits shorter.

The turbo is just sitting there, no nuts or bolts, but has absolutely no wiggle room.

So people have got these on, by just cramming it around the TGV delete?

Took my intake manifold off to do mine, I doubt it would have fitted otherwise

Good chance to give the engine bay a clean up while its off too.

Chance any hoses that a showing signs of age, etc..

Funny you say that, my plan was once this was on and running, the next thing I was going to do was tidy up all the bits of shit that have been added on, cut and stuck around the place.

I've spent some time recently wiping up dust, dirt and shit from my engine bay, and applied some silicone spray (similar to tyre shine really) to hoses and piping and the shit now shines!! Brings it up mint, and its nice to open the bonnet to a clean engine bay.
